Paraflection

I hope this photo is some sort of foreshadowing of Taylor's official entrance into the band, because they look so good as a five piece again.  Sometimes I think about how much time I've spent listening to Paramore, and how many different stages of my life their music has played a soundtrack to.  I can't believe this band, that I've seen play to a motionless crowd with only four or five kids shouting the lyrics at the top of their lungs, is the same band I just played to on Rockband.  Amazing.  So stoked for the third album to finish up production and drop.

10 Notes on Dark Was the Night @ Radio City

• Matt Berninger is wildly attractive and the new National material is mindblowing
• Bon Iver live completely exceeded my expectations (which were very high)
• Feist seems to have aged in double time, but she is still one hot bamf and my hero
• Sharon Jones was slightly terrifying but totally awe-inspiring
• The show, without even trying to be, was one of the most cinematic displays of sounds/sights/lights/visuals
• Sometimes it's just better to have a seated show (especially when the seats are as comfy as they are at Radio City)
• Radio City Music Hall is now added onto my list of most beautiful venues, right next to Empire Polo Field, the Gorge, and the Greek Theatre in LA
• No one will ever beat the awesomeness that is "This Land is Your Land" live and covered by the likes of Bon Iver, Feist, My Brightest Diamond, and the Dirty Projectors
• This show was exactly what I needed to to get me through this last 1.5 weeks of school
• I really wish I had picked up some chicken and rice... =(
